After 45 minutes of play, Chimenea's Robustiano Aimar made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francisco Dodorol was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Florentino Loco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Norton y Kaplan's supporters rose to their feet, but Florentino Loco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erasmo Balasi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Octavio Illan scored 4-1 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erasmo Balasi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Illan in the 74th minute of play forced Chimenea's goalkeeper Erasmo Balasi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robustiano Aimar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Francisco Dodorol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chimenea's Erasmo Balasi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavio Illan in the 95th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Norton y Kaplan had played much better football throughout.
