But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leandro Primeiro couldn't finish the play. Silverio Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Malvin in the 12th minute of the match. The supporters of Horqueta FC booed when Lovari FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Pepillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute Maximino Gamus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artemio Meder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horqueta FC's Artemio Meder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximino Gamus in the 38th minute of play.
