The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mauro Hermon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 77th minute, but Justo Cordera got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Club Atletico Lanus hanging dry this time. 79 minutes into the match, Meridiano's goal looked a bit too open when Laureano Selmo came free, but Simon Honesto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camilo Iaki struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Justo Cordera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Meridiano. Prospero Gai hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Meridiano's zone, Mauro Hermon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simon Honesto came out of the goal and Mauro Hermon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 96 minutes, Saverio Hori managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Meridiano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saverio Hori was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Meridiano left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Club Atletico Lanus.
