Spectators: 6681 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) Pavón's Eulalio Arnau started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Marucha AFC's Teobaldo Chabier in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pavón's goalie prevented a goal. Virgilio Nuñez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Eulalio Arnau kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jorge Munio. That made the score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. In the 19th minute, Justo Restu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Justo Restu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Justo Restu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anacleto Enetz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobaldo Chabier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anacleto Enetz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Nuñez in the 31st minute of play. In the 36th minute Eulalio Arnau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Munio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Justo Restu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nunez Vincent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Virgilio Nuñez was the one to do the kick off. Anacleto Enetz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Nuñez in the 51st minute of play. With a little luck, Pavón's Anacleto Enetz got control of the ball when Teobaldo Chabier tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aristides Amor charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aristides Amor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 56 played minutes Marucha AFC got a freekick which was hit by Aristides Amor. 57 minutes into the match, Marucha AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Justo Restu came free, but Jorge Munio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marucha AFC's Jorge Munio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justo Restu in the 71st minute of play. Marucha AFC's Aristides Amor got his second yellow card of the match in the 84th minute. The referee ordered Aristides Amor off the ground. After having played for 95 minutes, Teobaldo Chabier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marucha AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teobaldo Chabier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Camilo Deunoro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 98th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pavón's goalkeeper Anacleto Enetz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
