Spectators: 6650 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cleto Sugoi took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Victoriano Iturri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 6th minute Victoriano Iturri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Senen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When The Funk Machine's Siro Elija in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lincoln's goalie prevented a goal. Vladimiro Senen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victoriano Iturri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 18 minutes, Gavino Orain mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lincoln and the The Funk Machine players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th match minute, Lincoln was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavino Orain to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siro Elija in the 21st minute of play forced Lincoln's goalkeeper Vladimiro Senen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Siro Elija sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Lincoln's Cleto Sugoi got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 27 minutes into the match, Lincoln's goal looked a bit too open when Victoriano Iturri came free, but Vladimiro Senen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victoriano Iturri in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vladimiro Senen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vladimiro Senen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victoriano Iturri, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute, Siro Elija made a precise shot to the right of Vladimiro Senen. Lincoln's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Vladimiro Senen came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by The Funk Machine's Victoriano Iturri. But to his dismay, Victoriano Iturri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 42nd minute, Victoriano Iturri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Victoriano Iturri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vladimiro Senen having to make a save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victoriano Iturri to make the kick off. If Siro Elija had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melchor Galsino charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Melchor Galsino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 68th minute Victoriano Iturri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Senen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vladimiro Senen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victoriano Iturri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victoriano Iturri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Siro Elija sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 81 minutes into the match, The Funk Machine's goal looked a bit too open when Gavino Orain came free, but Mauro Nel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cleto Sugoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Nel having to interfere. Luisito Curcio kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Lincoln's Elvio Etxatxu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mauro Nel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Lincoln's Vladimiro Senen got control of the ball when Siro Elija tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Lincoln's zone, Victoriano Iturri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vladimiro Senen came out of the goal and Victoriano Iturri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cleto Sugoi struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Mauro Nel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lincoln. The The Funk Machine supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing The Funk Machine would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
