When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Moises Ignatius made a kick off. Venancio Maura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Irrintzi in the 55th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in JUVENTUZ 77's zone, Aquilino Ireno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Venancio Maura came out of the goal and Aquilino Ireno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the JUVENTUZ 77 defense, Aquilino Ireno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Venancio Maura. The JUVENTUZ 77 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Venancio Maura should have stopped the shot. Alejandro Padro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Freddy Luzaide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aquilino Ireno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aquilino Ireno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Venancio Maura read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Venancio Maura stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Uriel Irrintzi's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Freddy Luzaide was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Fabian Isusko. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Moises Ignatius managed to get in a good position for a shot. JUVENTUZ 77's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Ignatius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Freddy Luzaide breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cuñapirú AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
