But to his dismay, Basilio Matteo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Lino Piearres hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Antonio Salomone took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Horacio Santio. Colon de Santa Fe's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Colon de Santa Fe's Horacio Santio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basilio Matteo in the 29th minute of play. If Jimeno Weterio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnoldo Nataniel took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Horacio Santio. Horacio Santio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 37th match minute, Colon de Santa Fe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimeno Weterio to maneuver through the defense. Corcovado FC's Jimeno Txurio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Corcovado FC from getting a goal against them. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

David Bernal kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. 57 minutes in the game, David Bernal fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Horacio Santio having to interfere. Basilio Matteo hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Horacio Santio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnoldo Nataniel in the 73rd minute. 75 minutes into the match, Corcovado FC's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Tximitx came free, but Jimeno Txurio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Horacio Santio made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Arnoldo Nataniel sent off a good shot on target. Jimeno Weterio took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jimeno Txurio. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnoldo Nataniel got free with Horacio Santio in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 92nd minute Segundo Mon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horacio Santio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Colon de Santa Fe booed when Corcovado FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Porfiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Corcovado FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
