The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 11th match minute, Villaguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomiro Anaya to maneuver through the defense. Lucas Eneko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Montae, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Baldomiro Anaya made a precise shot to the right of Horacio Santio. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Jimeno Weterio made the kick off in the second half. Baldomiro Anaya hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Jimeno Weterio put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Lucas Eneko. Lino Piearres kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Haroldo Leoncio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 98 minutes into the game, Colon de Santa Fe's Jimeno Weterio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucas Eneko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Colon de Santa Fe were victorious despite being under pressure from Villaguay for much of the match.
