Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nemesio Guillelmo started the match with the kick off. Cornelio Locaio hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Cornelio Locaio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Azul FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cornelio Locaio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvio Napier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 12th minute, Laureano Balendin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lazzarino's Silvio Napier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Lazzarino from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelio Locaio in the 20th minute of play forced Lazzarino's goalkeeper Silvio Napier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Azul FC's Isidoro Remigio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemesio Guillelmo in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 26th minute by Laureano Balendin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Laureano Balendin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvio Napier having to interfere. Cornelio Locaio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cornelio Locaio might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silvio Napier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cornelio Locaio ran back to his position shaking his head. Cornelio Locaio struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Silvio Napier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Azul FC. In the 38th minute Cornelio Locaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvio Napier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Laureano Balendin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Azul FC's Isidoro Remigio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemesio Guillelmo in the 48th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cornelio Locaio to make the kick off. Lazzarino's Silvio Napier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornelio Locaio in the 52nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nemesio Guillelmo in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isidoro Remigio saved Azul FC from getting behind. Silvio Napier came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Azul FC's Laureano Balendin. But to his dismay, Laureano Balendin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Nemesio Guillelmo kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Laureano Balendin might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silvio Napier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Laureano Balendin ran back to his position shaking his head. When Lazzarino's Nemesio Guillelmo in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Azul FC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laureano Balendin in the 80th minute of play forced Lazzarino's goalkeeper Silvio Napier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Azul FC's zone, Mauro Favila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isidoro Remigio came out of the goal and Mauro Favila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 88 minutes into the match, Lazzarino's Mauro Favila sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isidoro Remigio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Azul FC's Ovidio Urki got a free kick in the 89th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Lazzarino's zone, Laureano Balendin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvio Napier came out of the goal and Laureano Balendin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Azul FC had played much better football throughout.
