Quemquemtreu AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donato Gutxi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. VGG F.CLUB's Sebastian Frascuelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albino Iraitz in the 35th minute of play. Sebastian Frascuelo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Donato Gutxi went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Sebastian Frascuelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albino Iraitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. 45 minutes into the match, Quemquemtreu AFC's Albino Iraitz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sebastian Frascuelo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Donato Gutxi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

51 minutes into the game, Jorge Fortun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quemquemtreu AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VGG F.CLUB the free kick. In the 51st minute, one of Quemquemtreu AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Quemquemtreu AFC. Honorato Mikelar went to the wrong direction when Leandro Bingen was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 53rd minute, Everardo Manilan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Donato Gutxi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Sebastian Frascuelo when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
