Spectators: 7274 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) Arequito FC's Serafino Cuarto started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Chorro FC's zone, Serafino Cuarto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clodoveo Lopes came out of the goal and Serafino Cuarto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 4 minutes into the match, Chorro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Oto came free, but Clodoveo Lopes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Arequito FC booed when Chorro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucio Domenec didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angel Oto scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Clodoveo Lopes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Angel Oto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Clodoveo Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucio Domenec got free with Erubiel Viviano in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 29 minutes into the game, Roman Orlondon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arequito FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chorro FC the free kick. A collision led to Arequito FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Roman Orlondon hit a great ball. A hard shot by Cleto Eguntsenti from long distance, 30 minutes into the match, got Erubiel Viviano's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Daniel Firman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Erubiel Viviano skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Roman Orlondon kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Daniel Firman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Chorro FC's Clodoveo Lopes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Chorro FC from getting a goal against them. Iker Abaurre's late challenge caught a Arequito FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iker Abaurre helped the player get up and apologised. In the 54th minute, Iker Abaurre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Arequito FC's Javier Fonso tried to score from far away in the 55th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafino Cuarto in the 56th minute of play forced Chorro FC's goalkeeper Clodoveo Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Serafino Cuarto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chorro FC's Clodoveo Lopes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Chorro FC from getting a goal against them. 61 minutes into the match, Chorro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Serafino Cuarto came free, but Clodoveo Lopes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 76 minutes of play, Chorro FC's Daniel Firman made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erubiel Viviano was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Arequito FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Aldo Lleir hit a great ball. In the 84th minute Cleto Eguntsenti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erubiel Viviano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Angel Oto notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Chorro FC's Clodoveo Lopes. Clodoveo Lopes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Roman Orlondon was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 91 minutes had been played. After 91 played minutes Arequito FC got a freekick which was hit by Roman Orlondon. When the match was over Arequito FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Chorro FC throughout the match.
