Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Leonides Mercurio took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Delmar Santiago got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leandro Fidele hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Leonides Mercurio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Laborde getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Diego Madaleno hit a great ball. Delmar Santiago took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfredo Aznaro. Alfredo Aznaro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 28 minutes into the game, Amancio Weather was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Laborde's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chacabuco the free kick. Amancio Weather hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute of the match Chacabuco got a corner. Laborde's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Epifanio Loramendi ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Epifanio Loramendi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Natalio Fernandes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 39th minute, Leonides Mercurio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Chacabuco's zone, Leonides Mercurio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Aznaro came out of the goal and Leonides Mercurio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfredo Aznaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Mercurio in the 44th minute of play. Delmar Santiago struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Alfredo Aznaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Laborde. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

53 minutes into the game, Epifanio Loramendi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chacabuco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Laborde the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of Chacabuco:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Laborde:s goal. In the 55th minute there was a penalty for Laborde. Albino Incendio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alfredo Aznaro. 2-0. After some careless play in the Chacabuco defense, Leonides Mercurio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfredo Aznaro. The Chacabuco fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfredo Aznaro should have stopped the shot. Delmar Santiago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute Delmar Santiago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Aznaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredo Aznaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amancio Weather, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After 73 minutes of play, Laborde's Amancio Weather made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfredo Aznaro was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Paolo Playo took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Natalio Fernandes to make any attempt to save it. Leandro Fidele charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leandro Fidele the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 79th match minute, Chacabuco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Fidele to maneuver through the defense. If Delmar Santiago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delmar Santiago took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfredo Aznaro. Alfredo Aznaro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. In the 87th minute, Leonides Mercurio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leonides Mercurio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Alfredo Aznaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Nicasio Froila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredo Aznaro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonides Mercurio went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. There was no doubt that Laborde were the better team. Laborde's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
