An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Kinsen in the 12th minute of play forced Profundidad AFC's goalkeeper Fidel Nerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eleuterio Ignazio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute Ovidio Artal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Tauro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Luis Gelacio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the game, Eleuterio Ignazio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Puerto Madero F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Profundidad AFC the free kick. Puerto Madero F.C's Bernardo Kinsen got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mauricio Tauro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidio Artal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ovidio Artal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Hernan Isadore came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Profundidad AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hernan Isadore couldn't finish the play. Mauricio Tauro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidio Artal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adan Egoitz's late challenge caught a Puerto Madero F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adan Egoitz helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Profundidad AFC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Adan Egoitz hit a great ball. Ovidio Artal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ovidio Artal was the one to do the kick off. Ovidio Artal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 57th minute of the match Adan Egoitz completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Adan Egoitz a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 58th match minute, Profundidad AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adan Egoitz to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Profundidad AFC's zone, Bernardo Kinsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fidel Nerio came out of the goal and Bernardo Kinsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Profundidad AFC's Hernan Isadore in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Puerto Madero F.C's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ovidio Artal during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hernan Isadore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Tauro having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Nestor Jon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hernan Isadore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Puerto Madero F.C's Mauricio Tauro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Isadore in the 89th minute of play. In the 97th minute, Hernan Isadore got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
