But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Clis couldn't finish the play. In the 68th minute, Carlos Clis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 70 in the game by Carlos Clis from a close distance when the talented Constantino Pierres managed to make a qualified save. Lynch's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in Lynch's zone, Carlos Clis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Constantino Pierres came out of the goal and Carlos Clis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vladimiro Orlanda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Lynch getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Efrain Gutierrez hit a great ball. Racing Stones's Benito Rosalio shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 79th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Constantino Pierres but with some difficulty. If Vladimiro Orlanda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carlos Clis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantino Pierres having to interfere. Tomas Haritz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantino Pierres having to interfere. Carlos Clis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Constantino Pierres made a huge save. Racing Stones played a much better game than Lynch and deserved their victory. The Lynch players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
