The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 22nd minute Federico Pacho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Esiquio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Florentino Lazcano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Baibiene booed when Lazzarino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elpidio Chumo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mariano Guillelmus hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the game, Florentino Lazcano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Mariano Filipo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mariano Filipo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingo Calvet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

A collision led to Lazzarino getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Hugo Bingen hit a great ball. Elpidio Sendoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Paulino Esiquio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elpidio Chumo charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elpidio Chumo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Elpidio Sendoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Paulino Esiquio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lazzarino's Niceto Jerano got a free kick in the 64th minute. Paulino Esiquio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Federico Pacho's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute, Elpidio Sendoa made a precise shot to the right of Paulino Esiquio. Lazzarino's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 71st minute, Elpidio Sendoa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulino Esiquio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Domingo Calvet struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Mariano Filipo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lazzarino. Lazzarino's Florentino Lazcano got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bartolo Duarte kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Florentino Lazcano struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Mariano Filipo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lazzarino. Florentino Lazcano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mariano Filipo having to make a save.
