After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Gonzalo Frascuelo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seclantás's supporters rose to their feet, but Gonzalo Frascuelo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delmiro Casado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gustavo Dabi's late challenge caught a Seclantás's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gustavo Dabi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th match minute, Sporting CR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lázaro Laurentzi to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Gonzalo Frascuelo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Delmiro Casado was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. The Seclantás fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Seclantás's Gonzalo Frascuelo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gonzalo Fertus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmiro Casado having to interfere. Delmiro Casado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gonzalo Frascuelo went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 32nd minute, Godofredo Xacintu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Delmiro Casado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonzalo Frascuelo in the 34th minute of the match. Evaristo Gonchan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Esteve Turi made a huge save. In the 44th minute, Gonzalo Fertus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Seclantás fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Esteve Turi made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Evaristo Gonchan sent off a good shot on target. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Cleto Otsoko made the kick off in the second half. When Gonzalo Frascuelo came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Seclantás fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gonzalo Frascuelo couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Sporting CR booed when Seclantás was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godofredo Xacintu didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gonzalo Frascuelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gonzalo Fertus in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Delmiro Casado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Sporting CR's Delmiro Casado got control of the ball when Gonzalo Frascuelo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 62 played minutes Sporting CR got a freekick which was hit by Lázaro Laurentzi. Gonzalo Frascuelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. One of Sporting CR:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Seclantás:s goal. In the 82nd minute, Seclantás got a penalty, and Feliciano Gustau placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Gonzalo Frascuelo scored 0-6 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Delmiro Casado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gonzalo Frascuelo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Seclantás played a much better game than Sporting CR and deserved their victory. The Sporting CR players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
