Jonas Otsoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amancio Dodorol in the 23rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lino Aztore during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 31 played minutes, Cieneguita FC's Americo Loren shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Evaristo Paskal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cieneguita FC reached it. Lisandro Geleberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Jonas Otsoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 38 played minutes Siján got a freekick which was hit by Amancio Dodorol. 43 minutes into the match, Cieneguita FC's Jeronimo Tristan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Evaristo Paskal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lisandro Geleberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Otsoa having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oscar Laurentzi to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Cieneguita FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Artemio Gonza fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Lisandro Geleberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60thth minute of the game Oscar Laurentzi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Siján's Evaristo Paskal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Cieneguita FC's goalkeeper Jonas Otsoa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lisandro Geleberto. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Jeronimo Tristan put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Evaristo Paskal. In the 79th minute, Artemio Gonza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Artemio Gonza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cecilio Bilintx fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Siján's protests and gave Cecilio Bilintx a yellow card for diving instead. Cecilio Bilintx kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Artemio Gonza reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonas Otsoa. The goal made the score 2-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Siján players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cieneguita FC.
