Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Viriato Moura started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Portugal defense, Tonko Urban kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. The Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Amorim should have stopped the shot. When Lovro Majer came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Lipovljani fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lovro Majer couldn't finish the play. Jânio Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Moreira in the 9th minute of play. After 10 minutes Lipovljani's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Felipe Barreto who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Felipe Barreto almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lipovljani's Jânio Branco did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 13th minute of play forced Lipovljani's goalkeeper Jânio Branco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Portugal's Felipe Barreto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jânio Branco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lovro Majer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marijan Ojdanić, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. The supporters of Lipovljani booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Graciano Coutinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. 32 minutes into the match, Portugal's Felipe Barreto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jânio Branco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 35 minutes in the game Jakov Cvjetković did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Lovro Majer. 37 minutes into the match, Lipovljani's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Jânio Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes into the game, Tonko Petrlin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Wilson Amorim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Felipe Barreto put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jânio Branco. Lipovljani's Domagoj Grković was substituted for Marijan Ojdanić. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Viriato Moura got a free kick in the 48th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tonko Urban stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Domagoj Grković notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tobias Galeno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 60 minutes, Domagoj Grković managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lipovljani's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domagoj Grković was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Jânio Branco successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With an all-out effort, Portugal's Jânio Branco threw himself towards the right post 77 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bartolomeu Dias, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Daniel Pimentel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domagoj Grković in the 82nd minute of the match. Jânio Branco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartolomeu Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Jânio Branco came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias. But to his dismay, Bartolomeu Dias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. 88 minutes into the game, Lipovljani's Domagoj Grković nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilson Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. In the last second Jânio Branco throw himself and got hold of the ball when Bartolomeu Dias in the 93rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. When Rodolfo Miranda fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Portugal's protests and gave Rodolfo Miranda a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Rodolfo Miranda hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Lipovljani fans cheered their team off the field, for while Portugal had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
