Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gösta Sellberg kicked off to start the match. Netherlands's Mathijn Doctor quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gösta Sellberg, made in the 4th minute of the game. 6 minutes into the game, Gijsbert ter Kruimer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Silvestre Derwin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. En Avant Nikko's Silvestre Derwin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 14th minute of play. A collision led to En Avant Nikko getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Johnny Jacquemet hit a great ball. Malcom Fournie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. After 26 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by David Eikelkamp. 28 minutes into the match, En Avant Nikko's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Silvestre Derwin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Netherlands's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Didier Têtu was slow to take the kick. During this time En Avant Nikko's players had a chance to rest. In the 37th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Derwin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Silvestre Derwin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Egbert Nijveldt got a free kick in the 44th minute. En Avant Nikko's Didier Têtu got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Bas Tuitert hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gijsbert ter Kruimer to make the kick off. In the 50th minute, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Manuel Souris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Derwin having to interfere. After 66 minutes of play, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silvestre Derwin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vincent Becker hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Vincent Becker kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Silvestre Derwin was a little too slow when Lars Meesters got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 1-4. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Silvestre Derwin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mourad Durieu kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the game, Gijsbert ter Kruimer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Silvestre Derwin. Gijsbert ter Kruimer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. 87 minutes into the match, En Avant Nikko's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Silvestre Derwin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silvestre Derwin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran back to his position shaking his head.
