Moises Lauaxeta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruperto Iztal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, Cayetano Oriol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ruperto Iztal was the one to do the kick off. The Maquito AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while SC Corinthians Santa Fe had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
