Enrique Kimetz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huanchilla FC. Remigio Guillen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Huanchilla FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Auguste Ollivier hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Maximino Jakobe kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jamie Goucher. That made the score 1-1 in the 27 minute of play. Enrique Kimetz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigio Guillen in the 31st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Auguste Ollivier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Huanchilla FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Auguste Ollivier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enrique Kimetz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Ducós's zone, Auguste Ollivier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrique Kimetz came out of the goal and Auguste Ollivier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Maximino Jakobe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ducós's Enrique Kimetz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remigio Guillen in the 45th minute of play. When Primitivo Oihan fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Huanchilla FC's protests and gave Primitivo Oihan a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Huanchilla FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After having played for 52 minutes, Auguste Ollivier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huanchilla FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Auguste Ollivier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Auguste Ollivier got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 1-2 in the right cross in the 57th match minute before Enrique Kimetz had time to react. Jamie Goucher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Indartsu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maximino Jakobe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jamie Goucher having to interfere. Huanchilla FC's Jamie Goucher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Indartsu in the 67th minute of play. Auguste Ollivier took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enrique Kimetz. Enrique Kimetz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After 85 played minutes, Huanchilla FC's Veltin Leuenberger shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Enrique Kimetz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Huanchilla FC reached it.
