Dante Rocendo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernando Indartsu's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. 35 minutes into the game, Ceferino Herensuge was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montiel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ducós the free kick. 35 minutes into the game, one of Montiel:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Nicanor Froylan placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Enrique Kimetz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustacio Oliverio in the 41st minute of play. In the 41st match minute, Ducós was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Laurentzi to maneuver through the defense.

After 84 played minutes Montiel got a freekick which was hit by Eustacio Oliverio. Maximino Jakobe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eustacio Oliverio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Montiel's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
