The Baibiene FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. SC Corinthians Santa Fe's Moises Lauaxeta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severo Janpier in the 7th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Braulio Rainerio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Corinthians Santa Fe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Baibiene FC the free kick. In the 16th minute, Braulio Rainerio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Sindo in the 17th minute of play forced SC Corinthians Santa Fe's goalkeeper Moises Lauaxeta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baibiene FC's Severo Janpier got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fulgencio Sindo in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Moises Lauaxeta saved SC Corinthians Santa Fe from getting behind. Bartolo Basualdo kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Fulgencio Sindo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Moises Lauaxeta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Baibiene FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gerardo Hustaz fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A collision led to SC Corinthians Santa Fe getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Gerardo Hustaz hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

If Gerardo Hustaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, SC Corinthians Santa Fe's Hugo Arias got a free kick in the 54th minute. Severo Janpier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Moises Lauaxeta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fulgencio Sindo might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Moises Lauaxeta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fulgencio Sindo ran back to his position shaking his head. After 67 played minutes Baibiene FC got a freekick which was hit by Denis Perutxo. Fulgencio Sindo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moises Lauaxeta having to interfere. When Severo Janpier came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Baibiene FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severo Janpier couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Baibiene FC's Fulgencio Sindo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Moises Lauaxeta. That made the score 1-3 after 93 minutes of play. Baibiene FC played a much better game than SC Corinthians Santa Fe and deserved their victory. The SC Corinthians Santa Fe players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
