Spectators: 6680 (Terracing: 5200, Seating: 1450, VIP seats: 30) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bernardino Gonchan kicked off to start the match. Bernardino Gonchan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Rocendo having to interfere. In the 9th match minute, Macacha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Gaztea to maneuver through the defense. Eustacio Oliverio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 17 minutes into the game, Ivan Jaunzuria was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Macacha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Montiel the free kick. In the 17th match minute, Macacha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Jaunzuria to maneuver through the defense. When Eustacio Oliverio came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Montiel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eustacio Oliverio couldn't finish the play. Gaston Abarca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustacio Oliverio, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the match, Macacha's goalkeeper Gaston Abarca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fidel Sabin. Fidel Sabin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Gaston Abarca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Ivan Jaunzuria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eustacio Oliverio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Gaston Abarca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaston Abarca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fidel Sabin in the 38th minute. Fidel Sabin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Gaston Abarca made a huge save. When Ivan Jaunzuria was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 42 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Macacha's Ivan Jaunzuria got a free kick in the 42nd minute.

The wind increased when Eustacio Oliverio made the kick off in the second half. Eustacio Oliverio struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Gaston Abarca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montiel. 56 minutes into the match, Fidel Sabin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaston Abarca. Macacha's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fidel Sabin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Macacha's Bernardino Gonchan got a free kick in the 59th minute. A collision led to Macacha getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Eugenio Urbasa hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Macacha's goalkeeper Gaston Abarca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fidel Sabin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Abarca having to interfere. Eustacio Oliverio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Gaston Abarca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eustacio Oliverio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaston Abarca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eustacio Oliverio's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. If Bernardino Gonchan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Montiel's Dante Rocendo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Montiel from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Montiel's Alfredo Cuarto got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After some careless play in the Macacha defense, Eustacio Oliverio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaston Abarca. The Macacha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaston Abarca should have stopped the shot. If Fidel Sabin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaston Abarca came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Montiel's Eustacio Oliverio. But to his dismay, Eustacio Oliverio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. When the referee ended the match the Montiel players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
