In the 14thth minute of the game Baltasar Tiso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cuervos FC's Cosme Pirmin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Baltasar Tiso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cosme Pirmin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Arturo Cristofol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Froilan Mark in the 20th minute of play. If Baltasar Tiso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonel Umea's late challenge caught a Picantes FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonel Umea helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Cuervos FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Leonel Umea hit a great ball. Baltasar Tiso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Froilan Mark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Cuervos FC's Carmelo Semeno got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Mauro Viator took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arturo Cristofol. Picantes FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Arturo Cristofol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Froilan Mark's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Picantes FC's Arturo Cristofol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustacio Gentza in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Picantes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Froilan Mark came free, but Arturo Cristofol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Froilan Mark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Cristofol having to interfere. In the 44th minute Cuervos FC were awarded a corner. Tiburcio Quintyn went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Picantes FC's goalie and right to Francisco Txindoki. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Picantes FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Froilan Mark made a kick off. Cuervos FC's Leonel Umea got his second yellow card of the match in the 56th minute. The referee ordered Leonel Umea off the ground. The supporters of Picantes FC booed when Cuervos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eustacio Gentza got free with Arturo Cristofol in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Carmelo Semeno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eustacio Gentza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Arturo Cristofol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Efrain Dacio got free with Arturo Cristofol in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Picantes FC's Arturo Cristofol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Picantes FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Picantes FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Ildefonso Evarado hit a great ball.
