Spectators: 5100 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Baltasar Tiso started the match with the kick off. Bonifacio Atauri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laureano Vincent was a little too slow when Baltasar Tiso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 7th minute. The score was now 1-0. If Benjamin Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Picantes FC's Baltasar Tiso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Laureano Vincent. That made the score 2-0 after 18 minutes of play. 36 minutes into the match, catalina2008's goalkeeper Laureano Vincent had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benjamin Perez. 38 minutes into the match, catalina2008's goal looked a bit too open when Baltasar Tiso came free, but Laureano Vincent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Picantes FC's Baltasar Tiso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Laureano Vincent made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mario Chorache made a kick off. When Mario Chorache came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the catalina2008 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Chorache couldn't finish the play. After having played for 59 minutes, Delmar Vimaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Picantes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delmar Vimaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 62 minutes into the match, catalina2008's goal looked a bit too open when Delmar Vimaro came free, but Laureano Vincent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute Benjamin Perez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laureano Vincent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Benjamin Perez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Laureano Vincent was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Picantes FC's Arturo Cristofol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Picantes FC from getting a goal against them. When Ceferino Ferran fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored catalina2008's protests and gave Ceferino Ferran a yellow card for diving instead. Ceferino Ferran kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Laureano Vincent stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baltasar Tiso's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Arturo Cristofol acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 83rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Maximo Beltran. In the 88thth minute of the game Mario Chorache who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Picantes FC's Arturo Cristofol was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Bonifacio Atauri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 94 minutes of play, catalina2008's Bonifacio Atauri made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arturo Cristofol was left in no man's land by his defense there! Picantes FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
