When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Baltasar Tiso took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Zachary Skarpiak to make any attempt to save it. Zachary Skarpiak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benjamin Perez in the 15th minute. Arturo Cristofol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nunez Solustiano in the 16th minute of play. Nunez Solustiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 24th minute Nunez Solustiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Cristofol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Nunez Solustiano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arturo Cristofol was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After having played for 42 minutes, Nunez Solustiano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 9rafaela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nunez Solustiano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Prospero Lopes made a kick off. Arturo Cristofol acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 52nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Angelino Oinatz. Benjamin Perez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Zachary Skarpiak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baltasar Tiso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zachary Skarpiak having to interfere. Nunez Solustiano might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arturo Cristofol. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nunez Solustiano ran back to his position shaking his head. When Delmar Vimaro fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Picantes FC's protests and gave Delmar Vimaro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd minute, Delmar Vimaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Prospero Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Picantes FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Delmar Vimaro hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the match, 9rafaela's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Perez came free, but Zachary Skarpiak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Benjamin Perez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Prospero Lopes struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Arturo Cristofol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 9rafaela. If Nunez Solustiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
