In the 5th minute Froilan Mark shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Cristofol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Froilan Mark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiburcio Quintyn hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Cuervos FC defense, Benjamin Perez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cosme Pirmin. The Cuervos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cosme Pirmin should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Benjamin Perez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Picantes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamin Perez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cosme Pirmin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Picantes FC booed when Cuervos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmelo Semeno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eustacio Gentza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Arturo Cristofol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eustacio Gentza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baltasar Tiso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eustacio Gentza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arturo Cristofol made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Arturo Cristofol didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eustacio Gentza went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Eustacio Gentza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arturo Cristofol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Froilan Mark in the 86th minute of play. If Eustacio Gentza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 92 played minutes Picantes FC got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Vimaro. In the 95th minute of the match Cuervos FC got a corner. Picantes FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tiburcio Quintyn ran over to the corner to take the kick.
