In a very dangerous position, a player in Icaro fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 3rd minute. Penalty! Filomeno Cordera was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Segundo Enetz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 6 minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 10 minutes into the game, when Lisandro Ovando put in a rough tackle. 10 minutes into the game, one of General Paz Juniors:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Filomeno Cordera had in the 12thth minute some difficulties stopping Fabio Frisco's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The excitement rose when Icaro's Fabio Frisco after 12 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for General Paz Juniors's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 2-1. In the 14th match minute, Icaro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ambrosio Deunoro to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Icaro's zone, Santo Tiso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teofilo Esdras came out of the goal and Santo Tiso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teofilo Esdras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermegildo Canor, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Filomeno Cordera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Esteban Bladi in the 20th minute. With his leg Filomeno Cordera managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Icaro's Esteban Bladi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Elvio Berriotxoa kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Teofilo Esdras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santo Tiso, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 33rd minute, Segundo Enetz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ermegildo Canor was the one to do the kick off. Ermegildo Canor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Santo Tiso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teofilo Esdras having to make a save. General Paz Juniors's Santo Tiso got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 56 minutes into the game, Segundo Enetz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Filomeno Cordera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 61 minutes into the match, Icaro's goalkeeper Teofilo Esdras had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ermegildo Canor. Teofilo Esdras stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santo Tiso's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. With a little luck, Icaro's Teofilo Esdras got control of the ball when Ermegildo Canor tried to sneak it across the goal line. Filomeno Cordera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Segundo Enetz in the 68th minute of the match. A collision led to Icaro getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Marcos Orlondo hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, General Paz Juniors's Santo Tiso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teofilo Esdras narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 75 minutes into the match, Santo Tiso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Teofilo Esdras, 3-3. In the 78th minute, Segundo Enetz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ermegildo Canor got free with Teofilo Esdras in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 86 played minutes Icaro got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosio Deunoro. Ermegildo Canor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ermegildo Canor struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Teofilo Esdras didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for General Paz Juniors. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santo Tiso in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teofilo Esdras prevented the ball from getting in the gole. General Paz Juniors were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
