Zacarias Lucila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofilo Esdras having to interfere. Teofilo Esdras came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Espín's Tiburcio Abancens. But to his dismay, Tiburcio Abancens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 90th match minute, Icaro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Bladi to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute Zacarias Lucila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Esdras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victor Egoitz hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Icaro's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
