Spectators: 7154 (Terracing: 5437, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 50) After a defensive mix-up in Capdevila FC's zone, Godofredo Maldonado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santiago Garci came out of the goal and Godofredo Maldonado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Santiago Garci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godofredo Maldonado in the 6th minute of play. Dorrego Football Club's Romeo Formerio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Dorrego Football Club from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Godofredo Maldonado in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santiago Garci saved Capdevila FC from getting behind. In the 17th minute, Arturo Chus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20thth minute of the game Arturo Chus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Capdevila FC's Santiago Garci was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Godofredo Maldonado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Santiago Garci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Dorrego Football Club's Godofredo Maldonado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Santiago Garci narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan Handi got free with Romeo Formerio in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Dorrego Football Club's Arturo Chus in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Capdevila FC's goalie prevented a goal. Arturo Chus might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Santiago Garci. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arturo Chus ran back to his position shaking his head. Godofredo Maldonado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arturo Chus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Garci having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Godofredo Maldonado was the one to do the kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Arturo Chus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Capdevila FC's Santiago Garci was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Juan Handi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Romeo Formerio. Dorrego Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan Handi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Juan Handi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Formerio having to interfere. If Freddy Mikelar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romeo Formerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddy Mikelar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romeo Formerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Handi, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After 84 minutes of play, Dorrego Football Club's Prudencio Harri made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santiago Garci was left in no man's land by his defense there! Juan Handi struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Romeo Formerio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Capdevila FC. Ladislao Henry hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute, Freddy Mikelar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romeo Formerio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
