Ovidio Napier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgardo Pero having to interfere. Edgardo Pero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anastasio Neron, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After 17th play minutes Anastasio Neron shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Edgardo Pero and just under the crossbar into goal. Edgardo Pero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anastasio Neron in the 21st minute of play. With his leg Saul Sustrai managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when TakefullSpa's Marco Azeari fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 26thth minute of the game Anastasio Neron who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TakefullSpa's Edgardo Pero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 29 played minutes TakefullSpa got a freekick which was hit by Abel Perico. Edgardo Pero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Bastia, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Filomeno Kelemen hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Edgardo Pero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anastasio Neron in the 32nd minute of the match. Ovidio Napier struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Edgardo Pero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gallo FC. A collision led to TakefullSpa getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Jacobo Jordy hit a great ball. Marco Azeari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Saul Sustrai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Gallo FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Rodrigo Normando hit a great ball. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gallo FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Iker Criston was slow to take the kick. During this time TakefullSpa's players had a chance to rest. TakefullSpa's Iker Criston was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Saul Sustrai in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After having played for 46 minutes, Narciso Estefan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TakefullSpa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Narciso Estefan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The TakefullSpa players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gallo FC were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Narciso Estefan to strike the kick off in the second half. Marco Azeari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Saul Sustrai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgardo Pero came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Gallo FC's Anastasio Neron. But to his dismay, Anastasio Neron quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Ovidio Napier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edgardo Pero having to make a save. Ovidio Napier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgardo Pero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Edgardo Pero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anastasio Neron in the 68th minute. When Anastasio Neron came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Gallo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anastasio Neron couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Gallo FC's zone, Narciso Estefan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saul Sustrai came out of the goal and Narciso Estefan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anastasio Neron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Edgardo Pero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgardo Pero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidio Napier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgardo Pero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidio Napier, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After 93 played minutes Gallo FC got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Neron. The Gallo FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gallo FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
