The wind increased when Ovidio Napier made the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Gallo FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Normando. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Nazario in the 57th minute of play forced Gallo FC's goalkeeper Saul Sustrai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Gallo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aquilino Perrando came free, but Saul Sustrai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Acevedo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gallo FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
