A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 18 minutes into the match, Argentino de Merlo's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Polo came free, but Fausto Garin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fausto Garin came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Cebollar AFC's Danilo Polo. But to his dismay, Danilo Polo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramiro Erauso got free with Fausto Garin in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arturo Lope took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonides Panpili, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Fabricio Juvenal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Argentino de Merlo's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabricio Juvenal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arturo Lope breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leonides Panpili struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Arturo Lope didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Argentino de Merlo. With a little luck, Argentino de Merlo's Fausto Garin got control of the ball when Ramiro Erauso tried to sneak it across the goal line. 2-1 became the score in the 36th minute when Danilo Polo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Leonides Panpili sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arturo Lope showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonides Panpili, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Argentino de Merlo's Leonides Panpili got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Leonides Panpili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cebollar AFC's Arturo Lope proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Cebollar AFC from getting a goal against them. Danilo Polo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Fausto Garin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Cebollar AFC's zone, Fabricio Juvenal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arturo Lope came out of the goal and Fabricio Juvenal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anacleto Dayam kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Cebollar AFC's Ramiro Erauso got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Leonides Panpili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Fabricio Juvenal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 79 minutes into the match, Cebollar AFC's Danilo Polo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fausto Garin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leonides Panpili's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Arturo Lope skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Leonides Panpili received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Arturo Lope tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cebollar AFC's Arturo Lope proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Cebollar AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 91st match minute, Argentino de Merlo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeo Buinton to maneuver through the defense. When Ramiro Erauso got free in front of the goal in the 92nd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Fausto Garin was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Leonides Panpili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Argentino de Merlo's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Cebollar AFC had won, even though Argentino de Merlo had held more of the ball.
