Spectators: 7235 (Terracing: 5428, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 143) Marcelino Celipe started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 6 minutes into the match, Dorrego FC's goalkeeper Santos Herrera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niceto Ponce. In the 9th minute, Cipriano Mosen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Dorrego FC's zone, Laureano Cortez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santos Herrera came out of the goal and Laureano Cortez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 14th minute Laureano Cortez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Herrera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 22 minutes of play, Trébol f.c's Aurelio Lucero made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santos Herrera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Trébol f.c's Jacinto Hartz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorino Felipo in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Trébol f.c's goalkeeper Jacinto Hartz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 32nd match minute, Trébol f.c was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Lucero to maneuver through the defense. Aurelio Lucero struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Santos Herrera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trébol f.c. Santos Herrera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laureano Cortez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Victorino Felipo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dorrego FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Victorino Felipo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacinto Hartz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dorrego FC's Santos Herrera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Dorrego FC from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Laureano Cortez made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Dorrego FC's goal looked a bit too open when Niceto Ponce came free, but Santos Herrera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 53 minutes, Niceto Ponce made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Dorrego FC's Santos Herrera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Laureano Cortez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 64th minute Niceto Ponce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Herrera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Trébol f.c's Niceto Ponce in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dorrego FC's goalie prevented a goal. Aurelio Lucero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Trébol f.c booed when Dorrego FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cipriano Mosen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute, Fermin Sazon sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Dorrego FC's Santos Herrera didn't even have to move. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laureano Cortez in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Santos Herrera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Niceto Ponce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Santos Herrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laureano Cortez in the 84th minute of the match. In the 85th minute Niceto Ponce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Herrera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Trébol f.c players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
