A wasted opportunity for Argentino de Merlo. 14 minutes into the match, Argentino de Merlo's goal looked a bit too open when Melchor Pereyra came free, but Fausto Garin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramiro Godoy kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Marcelo Quilino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Garin having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Poker F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Leonides Panpili came free, but Mateo Romo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Poker F.C's zone, Leonides Panpili stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateo Romo came out of the goal and Leonides Panpili tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Argentino de Merlo were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Fabricio Juvenal made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonides Panpili got free with Mateo Romo in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Poker F.C's Mateo Romo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Poker F.C from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Astor Costante during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Argentino de Merlo getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Astor Costante hit a great ball. Poker F.C's Mateo Romo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Poker F.C from getting a goal against them. Mateo Romo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabricio Juvenal in the 74th minute of the match. Mateo Romo made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Leonides Panpili sent off a good shot on target. After 79 minutes of play Argentino de Merlo's Astor Costante was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Poker F.C booed when Argentino de Merlo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Astor Costante didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Argentino de Merlo getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Tadeo Buinton hit a great ball.
