The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Anacleto Otoniel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Melchor Pereyra fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Victoriano Liher, passed just outside the right post. When Anacleto Otoniel came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Patricio Rey F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anacleto Otoniel couldn't finish the play. Angelino Sarracino's late challenge caught a Poker F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelino Sarracino helped the player get up and apologised. 30 minutes into the game, Marcelo Quilino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Poker F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Patricio Rey F.C the free kick. A collision led to Poker F.C getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Marcelo Quilino hit a great ball. Patricio Rey F.C's Victoriano Liher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melchor Pereyra in the 37th minute of play. Justo Tolino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Liher having to interfere. Dalmacio Goito took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Victoriano Liher. Patricio Rey F.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Victoriano Liher made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Melchor Pereyra sent off a good shot on target. In the 45th minute, Justo Tolino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Poker F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

In the 61st minute Melchor Pereyra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Liher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute Anacleto Otoniel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Romo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Melchor Pereyra took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victoriano Liher. Victoriano Liher dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After 87 played minutes, Patricio Rey F.C's Diego Perpinya shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mateo Romo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Patricio Rey F.C reached it. Cornelio Manilan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute.
