With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niceto Ponce in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fausto Garin saved Argentino de Merlo from getting behind. Jacinto Hartz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabricio Juvenal in the 5th minute of play. Niceto Ponce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Fausto Garin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Trébol f.c's Jacinto Hartz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Trébol f.c from getting a goal against them. Jacinto Hartz made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Leonides Panpili sent off a good shot on target. Fabricio Juvenal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 18th match minute, Trébol f.c was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victoriano Guillelmus to maneuver through the defense. Fausto Garin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laureano Cortez, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 28th minute, Gogo Betadur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabricio Juvenal in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacinto Hartz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Argentino de Merlo's Gogo Betadur got a free kick in the 38th minute. Laureano Cortez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fermin Sazon kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Jacinto Hartz was a little too slow when Fabricio Juvenal got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Trébol f.c's zone, Fabricio Juvenal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto Hartz came out of the goal and Fabricio Juvenal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabricio Juvenal was the one to do the kick off. Jacinto Hartz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeo Buinton, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Ramiro Godoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Jacinto Hartz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Trébol f.c getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Casimiro Lluciano hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Panpili in the 74th minute of play forced Trébol f.c's goalkeeper Jacinto Hartz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonides Panpili received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Jacinto Hartz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonides Panpili scored 3-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacinto Hartz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Fabricio Juvenal came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Argentino de Merlo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabricio Juvenal couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabricio Juvenal in the 84th minute of play forced Trébol f.c's goalkeeper Jacinto Hartz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
