After a rather tough play, SCASEST IAM NO ST's Everardo Lorenz got a free kick in the 10th minute. 14 minutes into the match, SCASEST IAM NO ST's goal looked a bit too open when Delmiro Matei came free, but Jonas Min reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Timoteo Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute, Fidel Maore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Salvino in the 22nd minute of play forced SCASEST IAM NO ST's goalkeeper Jonas Min to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonas Min made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipe Seme in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute, Florencio Feliz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonas Min was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 27th minute, Everardo Lorenz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club Atletico River Plate's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Timoteo Barros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico River Plate's zone, Damian Cordeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteve Honrio came out of the goal and Damian Cordeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute Timoteo Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteve Honrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonas Min made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Seme in the 48th minute of play.

The wind increased when Augusto Salvino made the kick off in the second half. When Fermin Asier came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the SCASEST IAM NO ST fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fermin Asier couldn't finish the play. After 59 minutes of play, Club Atletico River Plate's Augusto Salvino made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonas Min was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mauro Obano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Club Atletico River Plate's Florencio Feliz in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. SCASEST IAM NO ST's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
