The crowd rose to their feet as Simon Kismi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Efrain Efraim. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Nevada in the 6th minute of play forced Amaná's goalkeeper Maximino Gasteiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amaná's Benicio Maxin got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 11 minutes into the match, Deportivo Cristal FC's goalkeeper Efrain Efraim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benicio Maxin. 12 minutes into the match, Amaná's Niceto Edur sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Efrain Efraim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Filomeno Valerio kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Ariel Joachim had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Efrain Efraim. Deportivo Cristal FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ariel Joachim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Ariel Joachim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Efrain Efraim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Deportivo Cristal FC's Efrain Efraim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Martinez in the 23rd minute of play. Simon Kismi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Efrain Efraim came out and tried to block the shot, but Simon Kismi slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 25th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Mauricio Macias dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Efrain Efraim, 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Cristal FC's zone, Celso Martinez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Efrain Efraim came out of the goal and Celso Martinez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benicio Maxin scored 5-0 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Efrain Efraim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Benicio Maxin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Efrain Efraim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Amaná's Benicio Maxin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Efrain Efraim. Efrain Efraim yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-0. Benicio Maxin struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Efrain Efraim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amaná. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maximiliano Dolfo was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Amaná getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Mauricio Macias hit a great ball. In the 58th minute, Benicio Maxin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Efrain Efraim was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Benicio Maxin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Efrain Efraim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 65 minutes, Ariel Joachim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amaná's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ariel Joachim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Efrain Efraim came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Amaná's Benicio Maxin. But to his dismay, Benicio Maxin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Efrain Efraim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benicio Maxin's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. The supporters of Amaná booed when Deportivo Cristal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Fidencio didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Kismi in the 76th minute of play forced Deportivo Cristal FC's goalkeeper Efrain Efraim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Amaná's Benicio Maxin in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Deportivo Cristal FC's goalie prevented a goal. Ariel Joachim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Efrain Efraim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute Benicio Maxin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efrain Efraim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benicio Maxin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Deportivo Cristal FC booed when Amaná was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvano Teofilio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriel Nevada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amaná walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
