Mario Cordera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Gines in the 19th minute of play. Sixto Valente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Mario Cordera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Severo Gines fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Cordera having to interfere. Naranjito FC's Mario Cordera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixto Valente in the 28th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sixto Valente in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mario Cordera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 33rd minute of the match Pascual Ipar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mario Cordera skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixto Valente in the 40th minute of play forced Naranjito FC's goalkeeper Mario Cordera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 41 played minutes Piamonte got a freekick which was hit by Guido Eguerdi. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ricardo Fernandes during the 45th minute. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Richie in the 65th minute of play forced Piamonte's goalkeeper Damaso Javiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Piamonte's Damaso Javiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Baleren in the 68th minute of play. Fabricio Orain kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Severo Gines received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Mario Cordera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Naranjito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sixto Valente came free, but Mario Cordera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Piamonte's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severo Gines was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Piamonte's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
