Deportivo Cristal FC's Gabriel Nevada was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 29th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. If Fabio Rodas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anacleto Crescencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Dolfo, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Maximiliano Dolfo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Anacleto Crescencio, 2-0. If Maximiliano Dolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maximiliano Dolfo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Nano Negra's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Dolfo came free, but Anacleto Crescencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anacleto Crescencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Nevada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Nano Negra fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anacleto Crescencio should have stopped the shot. Blas Cebrian charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Blas Cebrian the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Deportivo Cristal FC booed when Nano Negra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blas Cebrian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriel Nevada scored 4-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anacleto Crescencio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. During the 82nd minute of the match Blas Cebrian completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Blas Cebrian a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game.
