Juventus FC's Domingo Gonza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Ceandro in the 21st minute of play. Arnulfo Celino succeeded in the game's 22nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. In the 27th minute, Amancio Ceandro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Artemio Arnas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Mouricio in the 29th minute of play. Domingo Gonza came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by San Lorenzo Arenales's Arnulfo Celino. But to his dismay, Arnulfo Celino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Amancio Ceandro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 42 minutes into the match, Juventus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Celino came free, but Domingo Gonza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Celio hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After having played for 47 minutes, Arnulfo Celino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Lorenzo Arenales's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnulfo Celino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo Arenales's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Mouricio came free, but Artemio Arnas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Artemio Arnas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hipolito Gonzales in the 70th minute of play. When Enrique Mouricio came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Juventus FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enrique Mouricio couldn't finish the play. Arnulfo Celino in the 85thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Domingo Gonza, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. San Lorenzo Arenales had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
