After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Amancio Ceandro managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Lorenzo Arenales's supporters rose to their feet, but Amancio Ceandro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristian Pirmin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Casimiro Urdin hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. 48 minutes into the match, El Ojo de Horus's goalkeeper Cristian Pirmin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnulfo Celino. The goalkeeper, Artemio Arnas, was totally fooled by El Ojo de Horus's Faustino Garcia, who 66 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Silvio Ledesma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Artemio Arnas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. El Ojo de Horus's Silvio Ledesma was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 72nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The supporters of El Ojo de Horus booed when San Lorenzo Arenales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amancio Ceandro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Artemio Arnas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvio Ledesma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Koldobika couldn't finish the play. Augusto Koldobika recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the El Ojo de Horus defense, Arnulfo Celino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristian Pirmin. The El Ojo de Horus fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristian Pirmin should have stopped the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The San Lorenzo Arenales fans cheered their team off the field, for while El Ojo de Horus had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
