A very good chance. Prudencio Ibar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnaldo Astudillo in the 15th minute. Ituzaingo FC's Godofredo Olo got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Serafino Venerando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tymoteusz Komanski in the 26th minute of play. Cristian Txema's late challenge caught a Ituzaingo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Txema helped the player get up and apologised. After 26 played minutes Mattew got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Txema. The audience thought a goal was coming when Salvador Fidencio got free with Prudencio Ibar in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 30th minute, one of Mattew:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mattew. In the 32nd minute there was a penalty for Ituzaingo FC. Rogelio Ugutz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Serafino Venerando. 0-2. If Ceferino Ler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd match minute, Ituzaingo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godofredo Olo to maneuver through the defense. Ramiro Chucho hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Rogelio Ugutz struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Serafino Venerando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ituzaingo FC. Baltasar Gervaso charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baltasar Gervaso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Mattew's Baltasar Gervaso got a free kick in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Acosta in the 54th minute of play forced Ituzaingo FC's goalkeeper Prudencio Ibar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Godofredo Olo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Serafino Venerando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Serafino Venerando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Ugutz in the 61st minute of play. Flavio Perico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. During the 63rd minute of the match Baltasar Gervaso completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Baltasar Gervaso a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 64th minute, Baltasar Gervaso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Serafino Venerando came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Ituzaingo FC's Tymoteusz Komanski. But to his dismay, Tymoteusz Komanski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Tymoteusz Komanski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Serafino Venerando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th match minute, Mattew was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Jesco to maneuver through the defense. Rogelio Ugutz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 82nd minute of the match, Rogelio Ugutz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Serafino Venerando saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 93rd minute of the match Orlando Jesco sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Prudencio Ibar skillfully saved the ball. Arnaldo Astudillo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Prudencio Ibar having to make a save.
