Cristian Txema charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristian Txema the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Juventus FC booed when Mattew was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Txema didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Fabio Gartzen in the 52nd minute really tested Serafino Venerando's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Serafino Venerando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Mouricio in the 56th minute of the match. Serafino Venerando made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Hipolito Gonzales sent off a good shot on target. Wilfredo Acosta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingo Gonza having to interfere. In the 67th minute Arnaldo Astudillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Gonza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mattew.
