Marcelito Bielsa F.C's Alonzo Valery was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 11th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 15 minutes of play, Veleros's Emilio Hernando made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Casimiro Delfino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ernesto Calixto charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ernesto Calixto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th minute of the match, Fernan Oliverios got a very nice opportunity to score, but Amador Bento was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Marcelito Bielsa F.C booed when Veleros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Mouricio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute Emilio Hernando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Delfino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
