The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Erasmo Hotz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Lauro having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erasmo Hotz got free with Sergio Lauro in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Inocencio Errando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Castulo in the 16th minute of the match. Paulino Eriz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute, Erasmo Hotz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sergio Lauro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erasmo Hotz in the 24th minute. In the 29th minute, Erasmo Hotz fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 31 minutes into the match, Gorchs AFC's Erasmo Hotz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sergio Lauro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erasmo Hotz got free with Sergio Lauro in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aureliano Castulo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Inocencio Errando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulino Eriz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Gorchs AFC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Siro Giro hit a great ball. Sergio Lauro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonatan Lon, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Jonatan Lon took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sergio Lauro. Sergio Lauro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Paulino Eriz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Inocencio Errando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marquesado FC's Paulino Eriz got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Marquesado FC's Paulino Eriz in the 75th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Inocencio Errando was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Gorchs AFC through an amazing save. Sergio Lauro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Hotz in the 84th minute of play. If Erasmo Hotz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute Jonatan Lon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Lauro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonatan Lon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Lauro having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Marquesado FC's Enrique Hernandez got a free kick in the 95th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Gorchs AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Marquesado FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
