The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, Redondo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angel Truylos to maneuver through the defense. Rogelio Tauro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Virgilio Bernebe made a huge save. Angel Truylos kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Andres Baudelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Silvio Pepillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 14 minutes, Leon Leobardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guaminí FC and the Redondo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Artemio Nicholas was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 15th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Baldomero Ler fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Redondo AFC's protests and gave Baldomero Ler a yellow card for diving instead. After 18 minutes of play Redondo AFC's Baldomero Ler was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Guaminí FC's Gaston Nardo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 19th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Redondo AFC. The supporters of Guaminí FC booed when Redondo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Oihan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rogelio Tauro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Redondo AFC's Nestor Oihan got a free kick in the 26th minute. Rogelio Tauro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Bernebe having to interfere. If Eugenio Efraim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Redondo AFC defense, Rogelio Tauro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Virgilio Bernebe. The Redondo AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Virgilio Bernebe should have stopped the shot. Blas Lidon hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Efraim in the 47th minute of play forced Redondo AFC's goalkeeper Virgilio Bernebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andres Baudelio was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Oihan in the 52nd minute of play forced Guaminí FC's goalkeeper Silvio Pepillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andres Baudelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Angel Truylos's late challenge caught a Guaminí FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angel Truylos helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Redondo AFC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Angel Truylos hit a great ball. Virgilio Bernebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Efraim in the 80th minute of play. After some careless play in the Redondo AFC defense, Rogelio Tauro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Virgilio Bernebe. The Redondo AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Virgilio Bernebe should have stopped the shot. Eugenio Efraim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Bernebe having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Redondo AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Guaminí FC.
