After 15 played minutes, Club Saenz Peña's Agustin Lia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Isidro Calvino came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Saenz Peña reached it. A hard shot by Arnoldo Guipuzkoa from long distance, 18 minutes into the match, got Paulo Beltxe's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardino Loco in the 20th minute of play forced Club Saenz Peña's goalkeeper Paulo Beltxe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Club Saenz Peña's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardino Loco came free, but Paulo Beltxe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Beltxe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dante Luken in the 22nd minute. When Isaac Jon fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Saenz Peña's protests and gave Isaac Jon a yellow card for diving instead. Isaac Jon kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute of the match Eustacio Polo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulo Beltxe skillfully saved the ball. In the 29th minute Melquiades Cedro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidro Calvino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isidro Calvino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melquiades Cedro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eustacio Tino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Calvino having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Club Saenz Peña's Severiano Eguerdi seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Severiano Eguerdi the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Club Saenz Peña protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Severiano Eguerdi had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Severiano Eguerdi kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Eustacio Polo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Falso Nueve's supporters rose to their feet, but Eustacio Polo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Beltxe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernardino Loco to make the kick off. Zacarias Ladio's late challenge caught a Club Saenz Peña's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zacarias Ladio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th minute, Zacarias Ladio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Melquiades Cedro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aureliano Roldanillo charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aureliano Roldanillo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dante Luken during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Paulo Beltxe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardino Loco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Melquiades Cedro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Calvino having to interfere. Paulo Beltxe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardino Loco in the 85th minute of the match. After 86 played minutes Club Saenz Peña got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Vidal. In the 88th minute, Bernardino Loco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Club Saenz Peña players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
